This guide will help you successfully complete the KYC verification process and avoid common mistakes. Once your KYC is approved, you’ll be able to use all features of the platform.
What is KYC and why is it required?
KYC (Know Your Customer) is an identity and address verification process that all contractors on the platform must complete. IT helps protect against fraud and ensures compliance with global anti-money laundering laws.
KYC is automatically assigned after registration. Until verification is completed, withdrawals are limited, so we recommend not postponing it.
Documents required for KYC
To complete KYC, you’ll need to upload two documents.
1. Identity Verification (choose one):
Passport
National Identity Card
Residence Permit
Driver’s License
2. Proof of Residential Address (choose one):
Utility bill
Bank statement showing your full address
Tax or government-issued document confirming your address
Important: To avoid verification delays, ensure that all information in your documents matches the details in your profile before submitting them.
Address verification requirements
Your address document must:
Be issued within the last six months
Clearly show:
Your full name
Your complete residential address (must match the one in your profile)
The issue date
Signature or stamp (if applicable)
Tip: A bank statement with your full address is usually the fastest and most reliable option.
Recommended document format
If the document is physical, upload a high-quality photo showing the entire document. If the document is electronic, we recommend uploading it in PDF format to ensure proper processing by the system.
Documents that will not be accepted
Please do not upload:
Screenshots of documents
Mobile phone bills
Medical bills
Insurance policies
Receipts
Lease agreements (however, you can provide one to your bank and upload the resulting bank statement)
Documents with handwritten notes
Documents older than six months
Documents issued in another person’s name
Key requirement: residential address must be current
Your ID and address documents may be issued in different countries, as long as your residential address is current. By law, invoices issued through the platform must display your current residential address. You cannot use the same document (e.g., passport) to verify both identity and address.
How to pass KYC if you are a sole proprietor?
You must first complete KYC as a private individual and then update your profile data:
Complete KYC as a private individual. Your personal profile details will be updated accordingly.
If your private individual and sole proprietor data differ, contact our support team via live chat after completing verification and provide a certificate of registration or another official document confirming your sole proprietorship. More details are provided below in the text.
We will update your profile on the platform according to your business details.
When do you need to update your data?
You only need to replace your personal details with your sole proprietorship details if they differ. This applies to the business name and address.
For example:
If your name is John Smith but you operate as “Technologies for People”, you should update these details in the system via our support team.
If you operate as “John Smith, Sole Proprietor”, there is no need to contact support.
The same applies to your address: you only need to update it if the business address differs from your personal address.
Your data is secured
