Copying tasks helps speed up your workflow. You can duplicate an existing task, update the details, and send it to a contractor.
Important: If the “Automatically publish tasks for execution” option is enabled in settings:
The “Draft” status will be skipped, and the task will be sent directly for contractor approval. Editing will not be possible in this case.
This works only if there is a sufficient balance in the company account. If there are not enough funds, the task will remain in “Draft” status until the balance is topped up.
How to copy a task
Go to the “Tasks” section.
Find the task you want to copy.
In the “Actions” column, click the “Create a copy” icon. The new task will have the “Draft” status, and a message will appear in the lower-left corner suggesting that you edit the task. You can do this later in the “Tasks” section or immediately in the next step.
Click “Edit” and update the required fields (except the contractor).
Click “Continue”. The task is now ready to be sent.
Why is this useful?
If you regularly work with the same contractors, copying tasks is faster than creating new ones.
After copying, the task is created in “Draft” status, where you can edit it before sending.
You enter less data, reducing the risk of errors.
How to edit a task
You can only edit tasks that are in “Draft” status. For more details, see the article “Task Statuses”.
Important: The “Contractor” field cannot be changed during editing.
Click the task name or the settings (gear) icon.
The task details will open. Click “Edit”.
Update the required fields and click “Save”. The task is now ready to be sent.
