Copying tasks is a great way to speed up your workflow. Duplicate an existing task, update the necessary details, and send it to work.
Note that if the "Send tasks immediately to work" option is enabled in Settings, the task will bypass the “Draft” status and move directly to "On approval by a contractor," where editing is no longer possible.
Please remember that you cannot change the "Contractor" field.
How to copy a task?
To copy a task, find the one you want to duplicate and click "Create a copy."
Click "Create a copy". The new task will have the "Draft" status. A message will appear in the bottom left corner prompting you to edit the task. You can do this immediately or later by opening the task.
Then click "Edit" and update the required fields.
Remember that the "Contractor" field cannot be changed.
After you click "Save" the task will be ready to be sent to work.
Why is this convenient?
Time-saving. If you regularly pay the same contractors, copying tasks is faster than creating them from scratch.
Easy editing. After copying, the task is created with the "Draft" status, allowing you to make adjustments before sending.
Fewer errors. Avoid manual data entry and reduce typos.
How to edit a task?
Editing is only possible when the task is in the "Draft" status. Read more about statuses in the "Task Statuses" article.
Click on the task name or the “Options” gear icon.
Edit as you please.
Click "Save". The task is now ready to be sent to work.
