If you topped up your company’s balance in one currency but need to assign a task in another, you must first exchange the funds. Currency exchange on the platform is a manual process — it is not performed automatically when creating tasks.
Can I create a task in a different currency?
Yes, you can create a task in any of the available currencies — even if you don’t currently have funds in it. In that case, the task will be created as a Draft until it’s fully funded.
Example:
— You’ve created a task for 1,000 EUR
— Your balance currently has 990 EUR and 100 USD
Exchange a portion of your USD to cover the task in full.
Note: The platform does not convert funds automatically.
How to exchange currency
Click “Exchange”
This option is available in your profile header and the “Home” section of your account.
2. Complete the exchange form
— In the top field, select the currency and amount you want to exchange (e.g. 1000 USD)
— In the bottom field, select the currency you want to receive (e.g. EUR)
— The system will calculate the final amount based on the current rate
— Click “Make an exchange” to confirm the exchange
3. Refresh the page
Your updated balance will appear immediately.
Where to view your exchange history
Go to Company → Transactions.
This is where you can see details of each currency exchange, including the date of the exchange, amount, rate, and resulting balance.
